Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a smoothie with banana oats? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Measure them out. You will learn all the subtleties of choosing oatmeal by reading the article at the end of this recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Take a banana and peel it. Cut the pulp into small pieces with a knife and place in a bowl. If desired, you can simply break the banana with your hands.

Step 3

Step 3
Place yogurt, banana slices and honey in a blender bowl or other tall, deep bowl. Whisk everything together until smooth. It is better to take liquid honey. If you have candied honey, then put it in a bowl, which you place in a wide bowl of boiling water. Hold the honey like this, stirring it slightly and bring it to the desired consistency. You can, of course, melt honey in the microwave, but this will have a detrimental effect on its healing properties.

Step 4

Step 4
Add oatmeal to the yogurt and whisk again. You can use any cereal. Flakes that do not require cooking will quickly soften, and those that require cooking will retain their shape longer, which can be noticeable in the finished smoothie. Choose oatmeal to suit your taste.

Step 5

Step 5
The result is a smoothie base. Divide the resulting mass into two equal parts.

Step 6

Step 6
Add blueberries to one part and raspberries to the other. Whisk both masses separately and pour the smoothie into different glasses. If desired, you can leave a few berries whole and decorate the finished smoothie with them. When serving, you can also garnish the smoothie with a mint or lemon balm leaf.
