Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to steam chicken breasts in a slow cooker? Prepare your food. It’s better to take the chicken chilled — it will turn out juicier. Defrost the frozen one first. I used bone-in breast, but you can also cook fillet this way. Along with the breast, I cooked vegetables — potatoes, carrots and broccoli.

Step 2

Step 2
First of all, wash the chicken breast thoroughly, rub it with salt and spices and leave it in the refrigerator for one to two hours. You can make your own chicken seasoning by mixing a mixture of peppers, curry, garlic powder and any other of your favorite spices. By the way, I did not remove the skin from the breast — it will retain the juice inside. Wash and peel the vegetables (if you will also cook with them).

Step 3

Step 3
Pour water into the multicooker bowl to about 1/3 of its height.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the steaming basket and place the chicken in it. Place the peeled vegetables around the edges. Set the multicooker to a mode suitable for steaming; I call it “steam”; yours may have a different name. Set the time to 40 minutes. If you cook vegetables along with the breast, remove them after 20 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
After the signal indicates readiness, open the multicooker and remove the chicken and vegetables. Remove the skin from the finished chicken breast; it is no longer needed. Serve with fresh, boiled or baked vegetables. Bon appetit!
