Chicken and Red Beans in Savory Soy Sauce

The dish is unusual, the sauce is simply delicious! Red beans with chicken according to this recipe is a completely self-sufficient dish. Ingredients (3 portions)

Basic:

Garlic 2 clove
Sugar 1 tbsp
Bulb onions 1 pc
Khmeli-suneli 0.25 tsp
Ketchup 60 g
Chicken 500 g
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 40 ml
Canned beans 200 g
Ginger powder 0.5 tsp

Prepare the products according to the list: chicken or its parts, red beans (pre-boiled or canned), butter, sugar (ideally brown), onions, garlic, spices, be sure to include ginger among them.

Chop the chicken into portions.

Mix in a saucepan with spices, ketchup, soy sauce, garlic and onion. Mix well and leave to marinate for 2-2.5 hours.

Heat sugar and butter in a saucepan or casserole until brown and immediately dip pieces of chicken into it, fry quickly on all sides.

Add a cup of water to the marinade and pour into the pan with the chicken. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Add red beans, simmer for another 15-20 minutes along with the beans.
