Tomatoes 2 pc
Salt to taste
Sour cream 3 tbsp
Hard cheese 50 g
Vegetable oil 10 g
Dry spices to taste

How to make tomatoes with minced meat and cheese in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Minced meat can be used from any type of meat or even cold cuts. Focus on your taste and product availability. Sour cream can be of any fat content. It can be replaced with mayonnaise or sauce.

Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Place the minced meat in a comfortable spacious bowl and add chopped onion to it. Add a little salt and spices to taste. For spices I use ground peppers and a little paprika. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. It can be metal, glass or, like mine, ceramic. Grease the bottom and sides of the pan with a little vegetable oil. Place the prepared minced meat into the pan and distribute it evenly throughout the pan.

Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and remove the stem. Cut the tomatoes into slices and place them on the surface of the minced meat.

Lubricate the tomatoes and minced meat on top with sour cream or mayonnaise.

Sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Cover the top with a sheet of foil. There is no need to seal it tightly. Let the excess liquid evaporate without burning the top. Place the pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 40-60 minutes. Be guided by your oven. Remove the foil sheet 10-15 minutes before the end of baking.
