Beef 800 g
Carrot 150 g
Tomato juice 100 ml
Water 100 ml
bell pepper 2 pc
Onion 1 pc
Garlic 2 clove
Bay leaf 2 pc
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp

Ground black pepper to taste

How to make beef with bell peppers and onions? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. To make the meat juicier, it is better to use the pulp of fresh beef or veal. In addition to these spices, you can add your own to taste. You can change or add the vegetable part to your taste.

Rinse the meat, dry well with paper towels and cut into large portions. If the meat is not dried properly, droplets of water will begin to shoot out when they come into contact with boiling oil, and you will have to wash the stove and the walls around it.

Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into medium pieces. To make the dish more beautiful, use peppers of different colors.

Peel the carrots and cut into semicircles or large cubes.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat. Place the meat and fry on all sides until golden brown.

Transfer beef to roasting pan. Sprinkle with paprika, salt and pepper and add bay leaves. Keep in mind that you will also be adding salted tomato juice at the end, so add salt carefully so as not to oversalt the dish. Pour in boiling water. Cover the roasting pan with a lid and place in an oven preheated to 170°C for 1.5 hours. If necessary, you can add more water during the process, but this is usually not necessary, because a lot of juice is released from the meat when roasting.

Add chopped bell peppers, carrots and onions to the beef. Mix the meat with vegetables and return to the oven for another 20-25 minutes.

Add tomato juice and chopped garlic. If necessary, add additional salt and pepper and return to the oven for another 15-20 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven, the chosen part of the carcass and the age of the animal, as well as personal preference. You can replace tomato juice with ketchup, tomato paste or chopped fresh tomatoes.
