Therefore, they can be safely served on the festive table as the main course. Zrazy goes well with any side dish or fresh vegetable salad.

Basic:

Garlic 3 clove
Ground black pepper (1 tsp. l. breaded and 1 tsp. l. into minced meat) 2 tsp
Milk 100 ml
Breadcrumbs 100 g
Bulb onions 150 g
Pork 900 g

How to make meat zrazy with egg and onion in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Any meat is suitable for minced meat — pork, beef, chicken, lamb. You can even mix several types of meat — it will turn out even tastier. I only have pork. You can also take ready-made minced meat — whatever is more familiar and convenient for you. If your minced meat is frozen, defrost it first.

Rinse the meat well under running water and remove all excess — veins, films. Dry and cut as convenient for you — for a meat grinder. Also peel, wash and dry the onion and garlic. Cut the onion into 4 parts. Soak the loaf of bread in milk in a separate bowl. Literally for a few seconds, then immediately remove the bread and squeeze lightly.

Pass the pork, onion and garlic through a meat grinder. Usually I prefer to grind the minced meat myself, and buy ready-made only in extreme cases. It seems to me that it tastes much better this way. But, again, if time is precious, it’s easier to use a store-bought one.

Salt the minced meat to taste.

Add ground black pepper.

Beat in a raw chicken egg.

Add the bread loaf, which we previously soaked, to the minced meat. If you wish, you can pass it through a meat grinder along with the minced meat. I donʼt usually do this. Crumble the wet bread with your hands.

Mix the minced meat well. Itʼs better to do it by hand. Then lightly beat it on the table surface to get rid of excess air. After this procedure, the minced meat will become denser and will hold its shape well.

Now letʼs get to the filling. Mine are quail eggs. Cook them for about 5 minutes, then cool and peel. For this recipe, I chose quail eggs — in my opinion, they look more interesting in cross-section. But this is not important, you can take chicken eggs and cut them in half. Or finely chop boiled eggs and mix them with green onions. Choose according to your taste.

Prepare the breading — breadcrumbs. I mix them with dry spices and salt. You can try to do it like I did, or opt for just breadcrumbs. In addition to breadcrumbs, my mixture contains: paprika, dried garlic and ground black pepper.

Lightly wet your hands with water. Take some minced meat about the size of a chicken egg. Roll into a ball, then make a depression in its center — as shown in the photo.

Place a whole quail egg, half a chicken egg, or a mixed egg-onion filling into the resulting cavity.

Roll each cutlet in breading and place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. You can cover the baking sheet with baking paper — this way nothing will stick, and you won’t have to wash the baking sheet later. Bake the zrazy in the oven until cooked at a temperature of about 180 degrees for about half an hour. Determine the exact time and temperature based on your oven.
