Ingredients (4 portions)

Basic:

Pork ham 600 g
Mint 2 pc

Marinade:

Mint 5 pc
Lemon juice 3 tbsp
Lemon zest 1 tbsp
Honey 2 tbsp
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Nutmeg 0.2 tsp
Paprika 0.5 tsp
Ground black pepper 0.5 tsp
Salt to taste

How to bake pork with honey in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Wash the pork under running water and dry with paper towels.

How to make a marinade? Wash the mint in running water and dry with paper towels. Chop with a knife. Place the chopped mint in a bowl.

Wash the lemon using food detergent. Using a grater, remove the colored part of the skin (zest) from the lemon, without touching the white part, as it is bitter. Squeeze the juice from the lemon. Add the remaining ingredients for the marinade to the chopped mint: zest, lemon juice, honey, vegetable oil. nutmeg. paprika, black pepper and salt. Mix everything well. Take liquid, candied honey and melt it. You can change and add spices to your taste.

Brush the pork with the resulting marinade.

Use a knife to make deep punctures around the entire perimeter of the piece.

Place the marinated pork in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. If possible, it is better to do it at night.

Wash the remaining 2 mint sprigs, pour boiling water over them and leave to steep for 30 minutes.

Place the ham in a baking dish, pour the remaining marinade and mint infusion into the dish.

Cover the pan with foil and place in an oven preheated to 180°C, bake for about 40. Then remove the foil and bake for another 35-40 minutes, periodically pouring juice from the bottom of the pan over the meat.
