Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake a juicy turkey breast in the oven in foil? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take kefir thicker. The fattier the kefir, the softer the meat. If you use ready-made spice mixtures, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. Often these mixtures already contain salt and pepper. Take this into account, otherwise you risk over-salting and peppering the dish.

Step 2

Step 2
Rinse the fillets under running water and dry thoroughly with paper towels. Using a sharp, narrow knife, make cuts around the entire perimeter of the meat.

Step 3

Step 3
Take a deep, comfortable bowl in which you will marinate the turkey, pour in kefir. Add lemon juice and spices. Mix everything well. You can use any spices to suit your taste.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the turkey fillets in the bowl with the marinade until the marinade completely covers the meat. Leave the turkey to marinate for 1-1.5 hours at room temperature, if longer, put the meat in the refrigerator. The longer the meat is marinated, the more tender it will end up. If possible, leave the fillet in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 5

Step 5
Remove the turkey fillet from the marinade and place on a double sheet of foil.

Step 6

Step 6
Carefully wrap the meat in foil so that the juice does not leak out during baking and transfer to a baking sheet.

Step 7

Step 7
Bake the breast in an oven preheated to 200°C on the “Top+bottom+convection” mode for about 40 minutes. Then unfold the foil, brush the meat with the remaining marinade and return to the oven. Bake until golden brown, about 25 minutes longer, periodically brushing the meat with the juices from the bottom of the pan. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on the features of your oven.

Step 8

Step 8
Place the finished turkey breast on a plate, cut into portions and serve with any side dish. Bon appetit!
