For the base:

Wheat flour 100 g
Water 60 ml
Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Dry yeast 0.5 tsp
Olive oil 1 tbsp

Champignon 50 g

How to make pizza with ham, mushrooms and cheese? First, prepare the necessary ingredients for the base. Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished dough will turn out more tender. Add salt, sugar, dry instant yeast and olive oil. If you have active or fresh yeast, then you must first dilute it in warm water so that it is activated.

Pour warm water into the flour (it should be warm, but not scalding, otherwise the yeast will die) and knead the dough. It’s convenient to work with a spoon first, and then knead with your hands. If the dough sticks too much to your hands, then add a little more flour; if, on the contrary, it is too stiff, then pour in a little more warm water. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes.

Form the dough into a ball, cover the bowl with a towel to allow the dough to breathe, and leave in a warm place for half an hour until the dough rises. I always do this: I heat a glass of water in the microwave for one minute. I remove it and leave the covered bowl of dough inside the microwave. This scheme has never let me down yet.

After half an hour, the dough will increase by about 1.5 times and air bubbles inside will be clearly visible. Turn on the oven to 200 degrees.

Prepare the necessary ingredients for the filling. Mushrooms can be used either fresh or frozen. If you have fresh champignons, you first need to wash them and then chop them into thin slices. Cut the ham into thin strips. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

Roll out the dough into a thin circle on a floured surface. The thickness of the base at this stage should not be more than three millimeters if you like thin crust pizza. I roll out the base directly onto the baking sheet. This will make it convenient to transfer the pizza to a baking sheet so as not to spill the toppings.

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the base, leaving about half a centimeter from the edge.

Sprinkle the base with a third of the grated cheese and place the ham on top.

Peel the onion and chop into very thin half rings. This is necessary so that the onions have time to cook while the pizza is baking.
