Tender, juicy, soft, tasty, easy to cook! Chicken cutlets for children turn out very appetizing. During baking, the butter melts and is absorbed into the cutlets. This prevents them from drying out and keeps the meat juice inside.

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make juicy and tender chicken cutlets for children? The secret of such cutlets is actually very simple. But everything is in order. Start by preparing the necessary products according to the list. Minced chicken should consist of breast meat, without any skin or fat. Therefore, it is preferable to make the minced meat yourself by grinding the breast in a blender or passing it through a meat grinder.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the bun into slices, pour milk over it and leave to soak. Then squeeze out the excess milk well. Decide for yourself whether or not to cut off the crusts from the crumb before soaking. I didn’t — the bread soaks very well over the entire surface.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the onion and cut into very small cubes. So that the onion is not felt at all in the cutlets, you can pass it through a meat grinder along with the minced meat. True, in this case the onion will release a lot of moisture, and the minced meat may have to be slightly thickened with flour or semolina. If your child doesnʼt like onions, you can skip adding them to the cutlets altogether.

Step 4

Step 4
In a bowl, combine minced chicken, onion, soaked squeezed bread, egg and salt. If the children are old enough (schoolchildren), you can optionally add a little ground black pepper. For kindergarten-age children, pepper is usually not added to minced meat.

Step 5

Step 5
Knead the minced meat thoroughly until smooth. It should be of medium density, not liquid. Leave the minced meat to stand for 5 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
With slightly damp hands, form the minced meat into medium-sized cutlets and roll in breadcrumbs on all sides. You can also use store-bought breadcrumbs or make your own from dried and crushed white bread.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the cutlets in a baking pan lined with oiled parchment. I got 8 cutlets.

Step 8

Step 8
Place an oblong piece of butter on top of each cutlet. Place the cutlets in an oven preheated to 180°C for 25-30 minutes. The exact time depends on the size and thickness of the cutlets, as well as the features of your oven. Bon appetit!
