Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make lean bean cutlets? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. Beans for cutlets are suitable not only canned, but also boiled. In the second case, it takes more time to prepare the dish. Rinse dry beans and cover with cold water, leave to swell, ideally leave overnight.

Step 2

Step 2
In the morning, drain the water from the dish with beans. Rinse the beans again, add a fresh batch of water and put on fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 30 minutes. At the end of cooking, add salt. Drain the water and let the beans cool.

Step 3

Step 3
Wash the carrots, peel and grate.

Step 4

Step 4
Peel the onions and finely chop with a knife.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Fry carrots and onions in oil. Fry them for 10 minutes until the carrots are soft and the onions are translucent. Beans are a universal product that can be combined with many others. Therefore, instead of frying vegetables, you can use mushrooms, nuts, garlic or herbs for taste.

Step 6

Step 6
Place boiled beans and fried carrots and onions in a blender bowl, grind the ingredients to a puree. Instead of a blender, you can use a food processor or meat grinder. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Mix again or use a blender.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour wheat flour or breadcrumbs into a plate. Place a tablespoon of minced meat in the flour and roll the cutlets on both sides.

Step 8

Step 8
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Fry the cutlets on both sides until golden brown, 3-4 minutes on each side is enough. Since all the ingredients in the cutlets are already prepared, this dish does not require long-term heat treatment.

Step 9

Step 9
Remove the cutlets from the pan and serve as a separate dish with sauce, mayonnaise or ketchup, or as a side dish with a meat addition, such as fried or boiled meat, chicken or fish. Bon appetit!
