Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to fry frozen cutlets in a frying pan? Very simple! Prepare everything you need. Cutlets can be homemade or industrially produced — the choice is up to you.

Step 2

Step 2
If there is a decent layer of frost on the cutlets, it must be carefully removed so as not to damage the breading, if any. This step applies more to store-bought cutlets than to homemade ones. There is no need to remove this completely inconspicuous layer of frost.

Step 3

Step 3
Take a non-stick frying pan with medium-high sides. Place it over high heat and heat thoroughly for a couple of minutes until it is dry. You will learn how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying by reading articles on these topics. There are links to them at the end of this recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour odorless sunflower oil into a hot frying pan and heat it for 20 seconds. Reduce heat to medium. During the frying process, you can add oil as needed.

Step 5

Step 5
Place the frozen semi-finished products in the pan and immediately cover it with a lid! The moisture will begin to evaporate instantly when it hits the hot oil. There will be splashes — thatʼs 100%. Take care of your hands. Over medium heat, cook the cutlets with the lid closed for about a minute. And then (and this is my main trick) just move the cutlets with a spatula from place to place, without turning them over, but simply restoring their free sliding. This will increase the chances of the cutlets not burning.

Step 6

Step 6
Then turn the cutlets over. You can add more sunflower oil. Cover with a lid and leave for another minute. Then again our trick is to move the cutlets with a spatula and cover again. After this action, the cutlets can be turned over every two minutes until cooked. The fire is also medium.

Step 7

Step 7
When the cutlets are already well browned, the lid can be removed. Gradually the cutlets will be completely cooked inside. I roasted mine for a total of 15 minutes, turning them over 4 times for sure, but it will be different for everyone. Serve fried frozen cutlets with any side dish and vegetables or salad. Any sauce will complement them perfectly. Bon appetit!
