Ingredients (15 portions)

Basic:

Onion 2 pc
Garlic 2 clove
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Nutmeg to taste
Rice (Boil in advance.) 1 cup
Vegetable oil (For frying.) 100 ml
Paprika to taste
Greenery to taste
Lentils 1.5 cup

Recipe instructions

Prepare the necessary products. Rinse the lentils well and cover with cold water, leave for 2-3 hours (preferably overnight). Boil the rice.

Transfer the lentils to the chopper bowl. Grind until smooth without lumps. Stir the mixture several times during the grinding process.

When the mixture has the desired consistency, add chopped onion and garlic into large pieces and chop everything together again.

Transfer the finished mixture into a container, add boiled rice, finely chopped herbs, season with spices and mix everything well.

Form the mixture into small balls and roll in cornmeal breading.

I pour vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat it up and carefully place the meatballs on the hot oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Place the finished meatballs on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

I transfer the meatballs to a plate, add gravy, sauce or sour cream to them and serve.
