Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make shish kebab from chicken wings on the grill? Prepare the necessary products. If you have frozen wings, remove them from the freezer in advance and defrost them at room temperature. For the marinade, you can use good quality tomato paste or your favorite ketchup. If desired, you can add 1 tbsp to the marinade. mustard. So, rinse the wings under running water and dry with napkins to remove excess moisture. Place them in a deep bowl.

Step 2

Step 2
Prepare marinade for chicken wings kebab. Peel the onion and garlic. Chop the onion as finely as possible and pass the garlic through a press. Place in a deep bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour in ketchup or tomato paste, as well as soy sauce. Add ground black pepper and paprika. If desired, you can use a little honey or sugar for the marinade.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix everything thoroughly and taste it. Add salt if necessary. I didnʼt use salt because soy sauce is salty enough on its own.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour the prepared aromatic marinade over the chicken wings. Mix everything so that every piece is in the marinade. Cover the bowl with a lid or wrap it in cling film and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. I marinated all night and half of the next day.

Step 6

Step 6
Light the grill and remove the wings from the refrigerator. When the coals are covered with white ash, place the grate on the grill. Lubricate it with vegetable oil using a silicone brush. Place the wings on the grill.

Step 7

Step 7
Fry the wings, turning occasionally so that nothing burns. While cooking, brush the wings a couple of times with the remaining marinade. Use a brush for convenience. It took me about 20 minutes to get the wings fully cooked. The exact time depends on the heat of the coals, the size of the wings, and the ambient temperature.

Serve hot with various sauces and fresh vegetables!
