Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare shish kebab according to this recipe, take turkey meat, namely breast and leg, approximately equally. Only 2.5 kg. All for 6 skewers.

Step 2

Step 2
Lard 0.5 kg. Underlining is best!

Step 3

Step 3
For the marinade: 150 ml vegetable oil, ginger juice to taste, juice of 1 lemon, ground paprika, red pepper, mixture of peppers and salt 1 teaspoon each.

Step 4

Step 4
First, pour the oil over the spices and set aside to release the aroma.

Step 5

Step 5
Now cut the turkey meat into portions, against the grain. Season it with lemon ginger juice and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir and leave to soften for 10 minutes before pouring in the marinade. There is no need to marinate the lard.

Step 6

Step 6
The marinade is ready, the meat is prepared — season it with marinade. Mix thoroughly and place in the refrigerator to soak in the spices for an hour and a half.

Step 7

Step 7
Time has passed, the turkey is soaked. Get started — light the wood and wait for the coals!

Step 8

Step 8
Meanwhile, while you are waiting for the coals, cut the lard into small pieces. It will need to be placed between the turkey meat. This way the kebab will become fattier and juicier! Thread the kebab onto skewers. It is better to bend the pieces of lard in half.

Step 9

Step 9
And now the kebab is strung, the coals are ready.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the kebab on the coals and fry until done, about 15 minutes.

Step 11

Step 11
When the coals begin to smoke and sizzle, it’s time to start turning!

Step 12

Step 12
After the time has passed, cut and check the readiness of the kebab. The meat is tender, juicy, tasty — it means it’s ready!

Step 13

Step 13
Place the kebab on a plate pre-decorated with salad and serve hot to the table! Enjoy your meal with delicious turkey skewers.
