Oven-Baked Pork Kebabs with Lemon and Onion

No hassles — the main thing is to choose good meat! Pork skewers with lemon and onions can be cooked in the oven and served for a regular lunch or holiday dinner. This is very convenient — we marinated it for 2-3 hours (more is possible), an hour before the guests arrived, we skewered it and set it to bake. A fresh, sizzling kebab will be ready to serve hot from the oven! Serve it with plenty of herbs and vegetables, sauces, pickles and marinades!

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare the ingredients according to the list: there are not many of them. The main thing is to take good meat from the neck or from the brisket, where it contains fat, so that the kebab does not turn out dry. So, take pork, onion, lemon, salt and pepper.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the meat into approximately equal, not too small pieces. Add salt, add coarsely chopped onion — in slices, not rings, if you want to string it on skewers; add pepper, add lemon juice from half a lemon. Mix well. Place in the refrigerator for an hour or two.

Step 3

Step 3
Thread pieces of meat mixed with onions, placing the fatty edge against the lean one. Press the meat tightly together — it will be juicier.

Step 4

Step 4
Place the kebabs over a rimmed baking sheet — by the way, you can bake potatoes or other vegetables underneath.

Step 5

Step 5
Bake at 200-150 degrees for 40-50 minutes (depending on the oven and the size of the pieces of meat).
