White wine vinegar 50 ml
bell pepper (Red Green) 2 pc
Chicken fillet 1 kg
Ground red pepper (paprika) 1 tsp
Teriyaki sauce 100 ml

How to make chicken kebab on skewers in the oven at home? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. It is better to take bell peppers of different colors, so the dish will look brighter. Teriyaki sauce can be replaced with soy sauce. Wine vinegar can be replaced with apple cider vinegar or regular table vinegar.

Wash the chicken fillet under running water, dry with paper towels and cut into medium cubes. It is necessary to ensure that there are no small bones or fragments of cartilage left in the meat.

Place the chopped chicken fillet in a deep bowl. Add paprika, teriyaki sauce and wine vinegar.

Mix everything well. Place the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Wash the bell pepper in running water, dry, and remove seeds and stems. Cut the pepper pulp into squares approximately the size of chicken fillet pieces.

Take long wooden skewers. Thread 5-6 pieces of chicken onto skewers, alternating with slices of bell pepper. Using a silicone brush, brush the kebabs with the remaining marinating sauce.

Place the prepared skewers on top of a suitable-sized baking sheet lined with parchment. To prevent the skewers from darkening from high temperatures, you can wrap the meat-free ends in pieces of foil. Bake the kebabs in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 25 minutes, turning them periodically to ensure even baking. I also brushed the kebabs with the remaining marinade. The times are approximate, be guided by the operating characteristics of your oven.

Remove the finished chicken fillet with vegetables on skewers from the oven. Serve them with any side dish: rice, potatoes, pasta or just a fresh vegetable salad. I served it with boiled rice mixed with canned corn. Bon appetit!
