Lemon juice 50 ml
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Chum salmon 500 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare all the necessary products. I recommend taking chilled chum salmon steaks — such fish is much healthier. The oil can be any: sunflower, olive and even sesame. I use ready-made lemon juice, but you can squeeze it directly from the lemon while cooking.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the fish, dry it, pour lemon juice over the steaks.

Step 3

Step 3
Grease the fish on all sides with vegetable oil.

Step 4

Step 4
Salt, if desired, you can add your favorite spices and seasonings for fish. Our marinade is the simplest, and in my opinion, noble fish does not need a lot of seasoning.

Step 5

Step 5
Leave to marinate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Step 6
In the meantime, light a fire, wait until the wood burns out and hot coals remain. You can also use ready-made coals — this will significantly reduce the cooking time.

Step 7

Step 7
Place a grill on the grill and place fish steaks on it. Fry for about 7 minutes.

Step 8

Step 8
Then turn the steaks over and sear the other side for the same amount of time. If necessary, repeat frying one more time on each side. Focus on the thickness of your chum salmon steaks and the desired degree of doneness.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve this fish immediately to the table while it is hot. It would be great if you add a few sesame seeds on top when serving. Bon appetit!
