Herb-Infused Fried Flatbreads

Appetizing tasty flatbreads will be a worthy alternative to bread! I really love various types of flatbreads — they are wonderful food! They are usually prepared very simply, but nevertheless they are very filling and really help out when there is no bread on hand! And the flatbreads with herbs are just a fairy tale! Try it and see for yourself!

Ingredients (12 portions)

For dough:

Salt 1 tsp
Wheat flour 3 cup
Water 1 cup

For filling:

Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Green onions 50 g
Parsley 25 g
Vegetable oil 3.5 tsp
Greenery to taste
Dill 25 g
Khmeli-suneli to taste
Sorrel 25 g

Mix flour with salt

Add water and knead the dough, knead for 10 minutes

The finished dough is quite stiff

We put the dough in a bag or cover it with a damp towel and work on the filling, during which time the gluten in the flour will swell and the dough will become more elastic

Finely chop dill, parsley, sorrel or any other greens

Roll it out very thin! In the original recipe, the dough actually glowed. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do it so thinly — the youngest really wanted to help... But there is no limit to perfection and next time I’ll roll it out even thinner

We salt and pepper it right on the dough, otherwise the greens will give juice, and we don’t need that. Add suneli hops and a little vegetable oil on the tip of a knife
