Ingredients (6 portions)

Basic:

Sugar (or to taste) 3 tbsp
Eggs 1 pc
Puff pastry (puff-yeast) 300 g
Blueberry (or other berry to taste) 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
To prepare the buns, we need only a few ingredients, namely ready-made puff pastry, blueberries, sugar and egg for greasing.

Step 2

Step 2
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 3-4 mm.

Step 3

Step 3
And divide it into 6 equal parts. I first divide it into squares, and then roll each piece into a rectangle, but you do what’s easier for you.

Step 4

Step 4
On the larger side of the rectangle, place the berries in a row and sprinkle them with 1 tsp. sugar (or to taste). If your berries are frozen, like mine, then you don’t need to defrost them first. On the opposite side of the berries, we make parallel cuts at an angle, not reaching the berries by 1-2 cm.

Step 5

Step 5
We carefully wrap the berries into a tube, carefully pinch the edge of the dough and wrap the tube of berries into a roll.

Step 6

Step 6
We wrap the resulting roll in the shape of a snail.

Step 7

Step 7
Place the resulting snails on a baking sheet and leave for 15 minutes to rest. After 15 minutes, brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle sugar on top.

Step 8

Step 8
Bake in an oven preheated to 190 C for about 15-20 minutes. The buns should be well browned. Let the finished buns cool and serve.

Step 9

Step 9
Bon appetit!
