Wheat flour 400 g
Butter 60 g
Milk 0.5 cup
Vanillin 1 g
Eggs 2 pc
Carrot (or more, in grated form I got about 1.5 cups) 2 pc
Poppy food 1 tbsp
Dry yeast 5 g

Letʼs prepare the dough. Pour dry yeast, sugar into a plate and pour warm milk. Stir and leave for 15-20 minutes in a warm place for the dough to rise.

Wash the carrots, peel and grate them on a fine grater.

The finished dough has tripled in volume.

Prepare the dough. In a deep plate, mix flour (first add 300 grams of flour), salt, vanillin, melted butter. Beat the eggs separately and pour about a quarter of them for subsequent lubrication of the buns, pour the rest into the total mass of dough. Add the dough and mix.

Add carrots to the dough and knead the dough with your hands. Add the rest of the flour if necessary.

Sprinkle the table with flour and knead the dough. The finished dough is soft and tender, but sticks to your hands if you don’t dust it with flour.

Cover the dough with cellophane and a towel, put it in a warm place for 1 hour so that it rises.

Knead the finished dough, roll it into a sausage and cut into 16 pieces. Roll each part into a bun.

Grease a baking tray with oil. Place the buns at a distance of 3 cm from each other, cover with cellophane, leave for 15-20 minutes to proof.
