Millet Breakfast Flatbreads

In this case, palyanichki are round flatbreads based on ordinary millet milk porridge. Using simple and affordable products, you get an original and healthy dish that tastes like cheesecakes.

Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Salt 0.5 tsp
Sugar 3 tbsp
Wheat flour 2 tbsp
Butter 1 tbsp
Water 0.75 cup
Milk 2 cup
Vanillin 1 g
Eggs 1 pc
Vegetable oil (for frying) 4 tbsp
Cottage cheese 100 g
Millet 1 cup

Pour boiling water over the millet twice, draining the water each time. Place scalded millet in boiling milk with water, salt and sugar. Cook until tender, add butter, stir and let sit a little. Then add cottage cheese, vanillin and egg to the porridge.

Mix thoroughly until completely homogeneous.

Form round cakes from the resulting mass and roll them in flour.

Fry the palyanichki over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. If you fry them in melted butter, they will be even tastier and more aromatic. Serve palyanichki with sour cream, condensed milk or your favorite jam. Bon appetit!
