Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make kefir pancakes without yeast? Prepare your food. Heat kefir until warm and add soda to it. Stir and leave to stand for 3-5 minutes. During this time, the soda will react with kefir. Thanks to this, the finished pancakes will be fluffy. You will learn about the features of baking with soda in the article at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine the egg and sugar.

Step 3

Step 3
Then add vegetable oil and a pinch of vanillin; a larger amount will add bitterness to the baked goods. Pour in kefir and soda and add flour sifted through a sieve. Flour must always be sifted. At the same time, it is saturated with oxygen and the finished products are more airy.

Step 4

Step 4
Mix the dough well until smooth so that there are no lumps of flour. You can use a mixer for this. In this case, you will need more or less flour than indicated in the composition; you can read more in the article at the end of this recipe. Focus on the consistency of the dough. When ready, it should be quite thick.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour a little vegetable oil into a hot frying pan and spoon out the dough to form pancakes. Fry them for 1-2 minutes over low heat. You will learn how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying from articles on these topics; links to them are at the end of the recipe.

Step 6

Step 6
Then turn over with a spatula and fry the other side the same way. Donʼt make a big fire. The pancakes should have time to bake inside and not burn on the outside.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the finished pancakes from the hot frying pan onto a prepared plate. To remove excess oil from them, you can place them on paper towels. Delicious, fluffy pancakes are ready for tea. Bon appetit!
