How to bake cinnamon sugar rolls from yeast-free dough in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. They should be at room temperature. Place softened and chopped butter into a bowl. It can be replaced with margarine if desired. Sift the flour in advance, preferably twice, to saturate it with oxygen. This will make the buns more tender and airy.

Step 2

Step 2
Add sugar and salt and mash everything with a blender, mixer or spoon. Pour the sifted wheat flour into a bowl with butter and grind the mixture into crumbs.

Step 3

Step 3
Beat an egg into another bowl, pour in kefir at room temperature, add baking powder. Mix everything with a mixer or whisk until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency. Read about all the nuances of working with baking powder in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
Transfer the dry ingredients to the liquid ingredients and knead the dough. Depending on the quality of flour, you may need a little more or a little less. You can read more about flour and its properties in a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 5

Step 5
The dough should be smooth and elastic. Wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour. Melt a piece of butter to grease the dough in a water bath or in the microwave. Read about how to do it correctly at the end of the recipe. Turn the oven on 180 degrees.

Step 6

Step 6
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into two equal pieces. Roll each of them into a thin rectangle about 0.5 centimeters thick.

Step 7

Step 7
Brush each layer of dough with melted butter. Sprinkle cocoa, ground cinnamon and sugar on top.

Step 8

Step 8
Roll the dough into rolls and cut into pieces about 3 centimeters wide. Gently pinch the edges of the buns on one side to form the bottom. Grease a baking dish with butter. For information on how to choose a shape, read the separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Place the buns into the mold. Brush them with beaten egg and milk on top and place in a preheated oven. Bake the buns for about 30 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe. Remove the buns from the oven, let them cool slightly and serve. The buns are delicious both hot and cold, with tea, cocoa, coffee or milk! Enjoy your tea!
