Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make lazy khachapuri? First, prepare the required products. You can use any cheese, but two types of cheese mixed with each other are more suitable here. Suluguni and softer cheese, similar to feta cheese or Adyghe cheese.

Step 2

Step 2
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater into a suitable sized bowl. I only have suluguni, dry and moderately hard.

Step 3

Step 3
Add a raw egg to the grated cheese in a bowl.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour kefir into the eggs and cheese. Mix the resulting mixture well.

Step 5

Step 5
Add wheat flour to it and mix. The dough should be like thick sour cream; focus on its consistency, and not on the volume of flour. If desired, you can first sift the flour through a sieve.

Step 6

Step 6
Heat the butter in a frying pan.

Step 7

Step 7
Spread the dough over the pan to form a nice, even cake.

Step 8

Step 8
Bake lazy khachapuri covered over low heat. The dough should be dry on top and a golden crust should form on the bottom.

Step 9

Step 9
Turn the flatbread over to the other side and finish frying the khachapuri on the other side.

Step 10

Step 10
Cool slightly and serve, dividing the baked goods into portions. You can decorate with greenery.
