Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make crumbly manna with sour cream without flour? Prepare your ingredients. Remove all products stored in the refrigerator in advance so that they become warm, at room temperature — then the manna will turn out fluffier and tastier. Beat the chicken eggs into a deep bowl or blender. Beat them until thick foam forms using a mixer, blender or hand whisk.

Step 2

Step 2
Whisk the sour cream and sugar in a separate bowl so that the sugar dissolves faster and better. You can use sour cream of any fat content, the main thing is that it is fresh and natural, without vegetable additives. The fattier the sour cream, the richer and higher in calories the manna will turn out.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour semolina into a bowl with a mixture of sour cream and sugar, add vanillin. Mix well and leave for half an hour to swell.

Step 4

Step 4
Then pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the swollen semolina. Add soda. Stir. Small bubbles will appear on the surface of the dough; when stirred, the mass will increase slightly in volume, as the soda will react with the acid contained in the sour cream. The consistency of the dough should be like thick sour cream. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Step 5

Step 5
Grease a mold for baking semolina with butter (bottom and walls of the mold), sprinkle with dry semolina (it is not necessary to grease the silicone mold). Pour the prepared dough into the mold. Place the pie in the oven for 35-45 minutes, depending on the operation of your oven, the volume of the mold and the size of the pie. It should be browned on top; check the readiness of the manna with a wooden toothpick.

Step 6

Step 6
Remove the cooled semolina from the mold and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve manna to the table with tea, coffee, cocoa or milk, hot or cold. If desired, it can be cut lengthwise and greased with condensed milk or other cream. Bon appetit!
