Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake a cupcake with cherries in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough. Sift the flour in advance. Thanks to this, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished cake will turn out more tender and airy. I added 150 grams of sugar instead of 200.

Step 2

Step 2
Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave and cool.

Step 3

Step 3
In a separate container, combine sifted flour, sugar, starch and baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Step 4
Beat the whites into a stiff, stable foam, starting with the minimum speed of the mixer and gradually increasing it. The container in which you beat the egg whites must be dry and clean, otherwise they will not beat.

Step 5

Step 5
Add the flour mixture into the whipped whites in parts, gently stirring each time from top to bottom so that the whites do not fall off.

Step 6

Step 6
Pour melted butter into the dough little by little and stir.

Step 7

Step 7
Prepare the necessary ingredients for the filling. In addition to cherries, the cupcake can be prepared with any other berries.

Step 8

Step 8
Wash the cherries, dry them and remove their pits. Drain off the juice that is released. The weight of the prepared cherries must be at least 100 g.

Step 9

Step 9
Roll cherries in starch.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the cherries in the dough and mix everything well.

Step 11

Step 11
Place the dough with cherries in a baking dish. Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 50 minutes. The exact time depends on how your oven operates. You can check the readiness with a wooden stick — stick it into the middle of the cupcake and immediately remove it. If it is dry, then the cake is ready.

Step 12

Step 12
Cool the finished cake, sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into pieces. Bon appetit!
