Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
In this recipe, I will tell you how to fry English donuts with powdered sugar. First, letʼs start preparing the dough. Drive the eggs into a deep bowl and beat them with a mixer or whisk.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour condensed milk into the egg mixture and add soda slaked with vinegar. Mix. Instead of soda, you can use baking powder and add it directly to the flour.

Step 3

Step 3
Add the pre-sifted flour and begin to knead the dough with a spoon directly in the bowl. When the mass thickens enough, transfer it to a work surface and continue kneading with your hands. The dough should come off well from your hands and be quite soft. Form the dough into a ball, place it back into the bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
From the rested dough we form a sausage with a diameter of 3 centimeters. Cut it into small pieces and roll them into balls.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour vegetable oil into a shallow saucepan and let it warm well. Drop the dough balls and fry on both sides over medium heat until dark golden brown. You can use a deep fryer. Remove the donuts when ready and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the finished donuts on a plate and sprinkle powdered sugar on top. This dish is considered quite high in calories, so it is not suitable for those who are on a diet. Although not everyone can resist such a delicious treat!
