Kefir 250 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake snack muffins with cheese and ham in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. I take 3.2% kefir, you can use any, even better if it sits longer in the refrigerator. The flour is wheat, but it can be diluted — make a mixture of wheat and rye/whole grain (210 grams in total). For dry spices, I take a pinch of Provençal herbs; thyme, oregano, and paprika are also suitable. The cheese is hard, you can use any cheese you like. Ham can also be replaced with brisket or sausage.

Step 2

Step 2
Cut the ham into small cubes and grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

Step 3

Step 3
Take a deep bowl, crack a raw egg into it and beat lightly with a fork or whisk. Add kefir, vegetable oil and mix everything until smooth.

Step 4

Step 4
In another bowl, mix chopped ham, grated cheese, salt, soda, dry spices. Mix the mixture, add the sifted flour and baking powder into it and mix again.

Step 5

Step 5
In a deep bowl, combine the dry ingredients with the liquid ones and mix until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
To bake muffins, you can simply grease the muffin pan with vegetable oil and spoon out the mixture without reaching the edges of the pan. You can also use paper capsules; then there is no need to lubricate them with oil. Place paper capsules in muffin tins and pour batter into them. Place the muffin tins in a preheated oven for 25-35 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. You can learn about the operating features of ovens in the article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the finished cupcakes from the oven. Let them cool slightly in the pan, then serve. These muffins are good both hot and cold. They are perfect for breakfast, as a snack or as an appetizer with a glass of white wine. Bon appetit!
