Step 1

Step 1
How to make fish casserole in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Any white fish is suitable for cooking. My favorite is pollock. Therefore, I took this particular fish for the casserole. And not frozen, but fresh fillet. If your fish is frozen, defrost it first. Cut the whole fish into fillets. Read about how to do it correctly at the end of the recipe.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into thin slices.

Step 3

Step 3
Peel the carrots and grate on a coarse grater.

Step 4

Step 4
Cut the pollock fillet into small pieces. Salt and pepper the fish and mix.

Step 5

Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry carrots in it for 5-6 minutes. Finally, salt the carrots and remove from the heat. My family doesnʼt like onions, so I cook without them. You can add it to the roast by finely cutting it into cubes.

Place potato slices on the bottom of a baking dish greased with vegetable oil and add a little salt.

Step 7

Distribute the fish evenly on top.

Step 8

Place fried carrots on the fish.

Step 9

Step 9
Spread sour cream on top. Or mayonnaise, to taste. With mayonnaise, the calorie content of the dish will increase. You can also sprinkle the casserole with grated cheese, it will also be delicious.

Step 10

Step 10
Wrap the pan in foil and place in an oven preheated to 200°C for 40 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake the dish for another 5-7 minutes until the sour cream is browned. Remove the finished casserole from the oven, cool slightly and serve. Bon appetit!
