How to make a casserole with potatoes, minced meat and tomatoes in the oven? Prepare all the necessary products. Take any minced meat, I used beef. Also choose spices to taste. I have black pepper and paprika.

Peel the onion, rinse and cut into small cubes.

Heat a frying pan, pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil onto it. Add the chopped onion and fry it over medium heat for a few minutes until translucent.

Add minced meat, salt, pepper and seasonings to the pan.

Fry the minced meat for 5-7 minutes, kneading it well with a spatula. Then cool a little.

Wash the potatoes in running water with a brush and peel. Cut the tubers into thin circles, as in the photo. The thinner the slices, the tastier.

Also wash the tomatoes in running water and cut into slices.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. You can take any cheese, the main thing is that it is natural, fresh, without vegetable fats and melts well.

Take a heatproof baking dish. Place the potato wedges in the first layer. Lay it in a thin layer, otherwise it may not bake. Be sure to salt the layer. Lubricate the top generously with sour cream.

Place tomatoes in the next layer. Also place them in one row.

Next comes a layer of minced meat. Try it first to see if there is enough salt and seasoning. If necessary, add salt and spices.

Sprinkle a layer of grated cheese on top of the minced meat. Expect to have three layers of cheese in total, so use a third of the total.

Next, repeat the sequence of layers one more time. That is, put it again: potatoes-sour cream-tomatoes-minced cheese. Donʼt forget to salt the potatoes. Place the potatoes again in the last layer, salt them and brush with sour cream. Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese.

Place the casserole with minced meat and tomatoes in the oven preheated to 200°C and bake for about 45-60 minutes. Determine readiness by the softness of the potatoes.
