Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make homemade popsicle ice cream on a stick? Prepare your food. For the popsicle itself, you only need two ingredients — heavy cream and condensed milk. To make the ice cream really tasty and of high quality, choose natural products, without milk fat substitutes. Take cream with a fat content of at least 30%, otherwise it will not whip. Cool them well before cooking.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour cold cream into a deep bowl. Start whipping them with a mixer at low speed — while the cream is liquid, it will splash. Then, as the cream gets thicker, increase the speed. Whip the cream until soft peaks form — the mixer beaters will leave a visible mark. The main thing is to catch this moment and not over-beat them — this is when the cream starts to flake and the whey separates (you will get butter).

Step 3

Step 3
Next, continue beating at the lowest speed, pouring in cold condensed milk in portions. There is no need to beat the mixture for a long time; as soon as the milk is added, stop the process.

Step 4

Step 4
Pour the resulting mass into special molds. Insert chopsticks. If you donʼt have such molds, you can make popsicles in small cups. Place the ice cream in the freezer until completely hardened, this usually takes 4 hours.

Step 5

Step 5
Prepare the glaze. Prepare food for her. Also choose good quality chocolate, with cocoa butter in the composition, without vegetable fats. I took milk capsules. The same applies to butter — it must be natural and comply with GOST.

Step 6

Step 6
Add butter to chocolate. Melt them in the microwave in short bursts, 10 seconds at a time. Stir the mixture each time until the chocolate is completely dissolved. The main thing is not to overheat it — that’s why the periods are so short. The finished glaze should be homogeneous and fluid.

Step 7

Step 7
Remove the frozen popsicle from the freezer. Carefully remove it from the molds. Drizzle glaze over top of ice cream. It will immediately begin to harden as the popsicle is very cold. Place frosted ice cream on a wire rack. Then put it back in the freezer for a while to allow the glaze to completely harden.

Step 8

Step 8
Serve the popsicle. Bon appetit!
