Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make Bounty candies with coconut flakes at home? Very simple! To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. How to choose the right condensed milk, read at the end of this recipe under the steps.

Step 2

Step 2
Place coconut flakes in a bowl. Add condensed milk.

Step 3

Step 3
Mix thoroughly. All coconut shavings should be soaked in condensed milk.

Step 4

Step 4
Using wet hands, form the resulting mass into identical, even, oblong pieces. I got 10 candies. You can form the candies into balls. Place the pieces on a hard surface covered with parchment and place in the freezer for 30-35 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a small deep bowl. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler, stirring occasionally with a silicone spatula. The finished chocolate should be fluid, homogeneous, without lumps or air bubbles. You can read about the features of microwave ovens in the article at the end of the recipe under the steps.

Step 6

Step 6
Dip the frozen coconut pieces into melted chocolate on all sides. I did this using two forks. Someone threads the blanks onto wooden skewers. Personally, my candies turned on wooden skewers, so I used forks.

Step 7

Step 7
Transfer the chocolates back onto the parchment paper and refrigerate until the chocolate has completely set. Instead of refrigerating, you can put the candies in the freezer for 30 minutes or a little longer. Bon appetit!
