Ingredients (10 portions)

Basic:

Butter 200 g
Cocoa 2 tbsp
Condensed milk 1 jar
coconut flakes (optional) 40 g
Cookie 500 g
Peanut (or other nuts to taste) 100 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make chocolate chip cookies? Prepare your food. Take the most ordinary cookies, of any shape, such as Jubilee. Instead of peanuts, you can add any other nuts you like or have on hand. Choose high-quality, natural butter, without vegetable fats. The taste of the finished dish will depend on its taste. Cocoa should also be without additives. A drink like Nesquik will not work.

Step 2

Step 2
Lightly dry the nuts in a dry frying pan. Just don’t burn them, keep the fire low and stir constantly. If you, like me, have peanuts, then after roasting, peel them. Then grind the cookies and peanuts in a blender or in any other available way (through a meat grinder or, for example, with a rolling pin).

Step 3

Step 3
Do not chop them very finely — the cake will taste better if it contains pieces of cookies and nuts.

Step 4

Step 4
Melt the butter in any convenient way, cool it a little and add cocoa.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix well, you will get a fragrant mass similar to chocolate.

Step 6

Step 6
Add cocoa butter and a can of condensed milk to the cookie and nut crumbs.

Step 7

Step 7
Mix everything well.

Step 8

Step 8
Use your hands to form oblong cakes that look like small potatoes (hence the name).

Step 9

Step 9
If desired, roll the cakes in coconut, cookie crumbs, nuts, and cocoa.

Step 10

Step 10
I also had colored coconut flakes — they turned out to be such fun little cakes.

Step 11

Step 11
Place the cakes in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to allow the butter to set and for the cookies to absorb all the moisture.

In an hour, we invite family and friends for a pleasant tea party!

Step 13
Bon appetit!
