Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make a delicious light milk dessert with gelatin? Very simple. To begin, prepare the necessary ingredients according to the list. You can take milk and sour cream of any fat content to your taste. You can also adjust the amount of sugar to your taste. Strawberries can be replaced with any other berry or fruit or cooked without berries.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash the strawberries, remove the stems. Cut large berries into pieces; small berries can be left whole or cut in half. Instead of strawberries, you can use other berries or fruits, such as peaches, raspberries, blueberries, blueberries, currants, etc. Or you can add nothing at all to the dessert. You can also adjust the amount of berries to your taste — add more or less.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour 100 ml of cold milk into the gelatin and leave to swell for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4

Step 4
In a saucepan, whisk the yolks and sugar.

Step 5

Step 5
Pour in the remaining milk and stir until smooth.

Step 6

Step 6
Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, but do not boil. When the first bubbles appear, remove the pan from the heat.

Step 7

Step 7
Add the swollen gelatin to the hot milk mixture and stir until it is completely dissolved.

Step 8

Step 8
Next, cool the milk mixture a little, otherwise the sour cream will curdle in the hot milk. Add sour cream and mix again. Then add vanilla flavoring or vanillin at the tip of a knife and stir again.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour some of the milk mixture into a silicone mold. Place some strawberries on top. Pour some of the mixture back and place the strawberry pieces on top. So, alternating layers of berries and milk mixture, fill out the form. Cover the mold with cling film on top and refrigerate for 3-4 hours, or preferably overnight.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove the finished dessert from the mold onto a plate. Garnish with strawberries and mint and serve. This dessert can be decorated with any berries or sprinkled with grated chocolate, coconut, etc. Bon appetit!
