Ingredients (10 portions)

Basic:

Sugar (1 cup per 200 ml cut) 200 g
Oranges 4 pc
Agar-agar 7 g

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
Prepare food. Wash the oranges thoroughly.

Step 2

Step 2
Extract the juice in a convenient way. If you squeeze oranges using a manual juicer like the one in the photo, you can first hold the orange under hot water and roll it on the table, so there will be more juice and it will be easier to squeeze out.

Step 3

Step 3
The resulting juice can be passed through a large sieve, so the finished marmalade will be more transparent. One medium orange yields about 100 ml of juice.

Step 4

Step 4
Divide the juice equally. Pour sugar into one part and mix /adjust the quantity to taste, if the oranges are sour, add /. Heat the other part of the juice a little/I put it in the microwave for 30 seconds/and add Agar — agar, mix and leave for 15 — 20 minutes.

Step 5

Step 5
Bring the juice and sugar to a boil. First on low heat, stirring constantly, when the sugar is completely dissolved, increase the heat to medium.

Step 6

Step 6
Add the juice with agar-agar into the boiling syrup while stirring. Cook the mixture for 3 minutes and remove from heat. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour into silicone molds. It should be borne in mind that mixtures with Agar-agar harden quickly even at room temperature, so you should not wait for complete cooling. Otherwise, the mixture will harden right in the container and it will be difficult to pour. Let cool slightly and place the molds in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 8

Step 8
Then remove the marmalade from the molds and treat your family and don’t forget yourself.

Step 9

Step 9
If there is marmalade left over or prepared in advance for the holiday, I put it in one layer into small containers /disposable/ and store it in the refrigerator. The truth is eaten with pleasure and very quickly. Bon appetit !
