Oven-Baked Cinnamon Apples

Basic:

Sugar 25 g
Apples 2 pc
Butter 1 tbsp
Water 100 ml
Ground cinnamon 0.5 tsp

How to bake apples with cinnamon in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. You can take any apples. If they are too sour, add more sugar — and vice versa. The most suitable ones are juicy, sweet and sour, of the same size. Wash the apples well and dry.

In a separate bowl, combine sugar with vanilla sugar, ground cinnamon and stir.

Using a small narrow knife, cut off the top of the apples near the tail in the form of a funnel. Carefully remove some pulp from the apples with a knife or spoon, being careful not to damage the walls, as juice will leak out of the apple through the punctures in the walls.

Pour the prepared dry mixture of sugar and cinnamon inside the apples.

Place a piece of butter on top.

Place the apples in a baking dish and cover them with the previously cut apple “lids”.

Boil water and pour into the mold with the apples. Bake apples with cinnamon in an oven preheated to 190°C for about 20-30 minutes. Determine the exact baking time and temperature based on your oven.
