Wheat flour 75 g
Eggs 1 pc
Hard cheese 100 g
Breadcrumbs 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil 1 tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Sausages 100 g
Kefir 125 ml

Prepare all the necessary ingredients to make a sausage and cheese pie. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

Pour fresh kefir into a bowl and add baking powder, stir. The mass will begin to increase and foam, this is a normal reaction of the soda, which is present in the baking powder, to the acid.

Wash the egg thoroughly in warm water to remove dirt and bacteria. Break the egg into another bowl and stir it with a fork until smooth. Pour the egg mixture into the kefir and stir with a whisk until smooth.

Sift wheat flour, preferably premium grade, through a fine sieve into a bowl with the egg-kefir mixture. This will allow the flour to get rid of debris, if any, and saturate it with oxygen. This will make the baked goods more airy and fluffy.

Mix everything with a whisk until the dough is homogeneous. It should turn out like sour cream.

Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater and place in a bowl with the dough. You can use any cheese at your discretion. But keep in mind that the taste and aroma of the pie will directly depend on its variety. Also, keep in mind that cheeses have different levels of salt.

Peel the sausages from the casing, if any, and cut into wheels. You can use absolutely any sausage, even one with a smoky flavor, which will make the pie more piquant. Instead of sausages, ham or regular boiled sausage is quite suitable.

Grease a 12*18 baking dish with odorless vegetable oil so as not to overpower the main flavor of the pie. Sprinkle the pan with breadcrumbs. This will allow you to remove the finished cake from the mold without any problems in the future. Instead of breadcrumbs, you can use semolina.
