A universal recipe for an everyday kefir pie. Pie with turmeric and cinnamon on kefir can be easily supplemented with spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger), any berries or fruits, zest, poppy seeds, chopped nuts, seeds, bran in small quantities. Kefir must be warm.

Ingredients (8 portions)

Basic:

Salt 0.25 g
Sugar 180 g
Cinnamon to taste
Wheat flour 220 g
Vegetable oil 70 g
Baking powder 5 g
Turmeric to taste
Kefir 200 ml
Frozen berries 0.5 cup

Recipe instructions

Prepare kefir, flour, baking powder, vegetable oil, sugar. Kefir should be warm (35-40 degrees).

Add spices to the flour (a little turmeric for color and cinnamon), baking powder and fine salt. Stir.

Mix vegetable oil with sugar. Add to flour with spices.

Stir. Pour in kefir.

Add fruits to taste (for example, frozen blackcurrants and strawberries). Stir.

Transfer the dough to a prepared baking pan lined with parchment paper.
