Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make blueberry jellied pie with milk in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take large, selected eggs. If the eggs are small, it is better to use 4 eggs. Use premium flour. Instead of fresh berries, you can use frozen ones, but they will need to be thawed first and placed in a fine sieve to allow excess moisture to drain.

Step 2

Step 2
Pour milk into a saucepan, add butter and place on low heat. Heat, stirring, over low heat until the butter melts. Do not bring to a boil.

Step 3

Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy and light foam. The airiness of your cake depends on how you beat the eggs. Do not beat the mixture until it becomes dense — the protein will lose the air bubbles that lift the dough. Many small bubbles should appear on the surface of a properly beaten dough.

Step 4

Step 4
While whisking continuously, pour the cooled milk-butter mixture into the eggs.

Step 5

Step 5
Sift the flour with baking powder and add it into the dough in parts.

Step 6

Step 6
Beat the dough with a mixer until smooth. The dough turns out a little denser and gathers around the mixer beaters while beating. But as soon as you turn off the device, it spills all over the bowl.

Step 7

Step 7
Wash and dry the blueberries. If you use frozen berries, make sure they are completely thawed and the excess liquid is drained, otherwise the dough may turn out too runny.

Step 8

Step 8
Add half the blueberries to the batter at once and gently stir with a spatula, being careful not to crush the berries.

Step 9

Step 9
Pour the dough into a baking pan lined with parchment and greased with butter (it is not necessary to grease the silicone pan). Top the pie with the remaining blueberries. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 40 minutes. It may take a little more or a little less time, depending on the characteristics of your oven. See below for important information about ovens.

Step 10

Step 10
Remove the finished pie from the pan and cool. If desired, you can sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
