Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake buns with jam from yeast dough in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients for the dough. Sift the flour in advance. This way it will be saturated with oxygen, and the buns will turn out softer and more fluffy. Melt the butter in a way convenient for you: in the microwave or in a water bath.

Step 2

Step 2
First prepare the dough. To do this, mix a small amount of warm milk with the yeast so that it dissolves in the milk. Then add a couple of tablespoons of flour and sugar. Stir and let sit for a while to allow the fermentation process to begin. This will be visible from the bubbles that appear.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour the dough into the dough bowl. Add the egg, melted butter and remaining warm milk. Stir and, gradually adding flour, knead the dough.

Step 4

Step 4
Cover the finished dough and place in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

Step 5

Step 5
You can start making buns. Turn on the oven to 190 degrees in advance.

Step 6

Step 6
For the filling, take any jam. Iʼll use raspberry.

Step 7

Step 7
Divide the dough into several parts. Based on the size of the intended buns.

Step 8

Step 8
Mash each ball of dough a little with your hands into a flat cake. Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each cake. Pinch the edges seam side down.

Step 9

Step 9
Grease the prepared baking dish with vegetable oil and place the buns, seam side down. Let them lie a little loose. You can use a simple round pan or a large baking tray. The larger the mold, the more buns will fit. I fit 6 buns into a 20 cm pan. Grease the top of the buns with a little vegetable oil, milk or yolk.

Step 10

Step 10
Place the pan with buns in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 25-30 minutes. The exact time depends on the oven. Cool the finished buns a little.

Step 11

Step 11
Separate the cooled buns with jam from each other and serve. Bon appetit!
