Irresistible Berry Crumble Delight

The magical taste and unforgettable aroma will not leave you indifferent! I love crumbles; not only are they easy and quick to prepare, but they turn out very tasty. This is not just a pie, but some kind of complete pleasure! It is a riot of colors, aromas and textures. You can add any berries you have on hand to the filling, and in the summer, when there are so many different fruits, you can use any combination. If you don’t like nuts or shavings, you don’t have to add them, but they add their own flavor, and the shavings absorb excess moisture and kind of thicken the whole pie. Help yourself!

Ingredients (2 portions)

Basic:

Sugar (+2 tsp into the filling) 25 g
Orange zest 0.25 tsp
Wheat flour 50 g
Butter 25 g
Starch 1 tsp
coconut flakes 2 tsp
Almond 1 tsp
Strawberry (Any berry will do, I used a mixture of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries) 200 g

Mix the berries, add the zest.

Add chopped almonds, coconut flakes, starch and sugar if desired. Mix. The filling is ready.

Place the filling into the molds. I used portioned ones, but if there are none, then the pie can be made in one small form.

Letʼs prepare the crumbs. To do this, mix flour and sugar, add cold butter (for convenience, cut the butter into a small cube).

Grind the butter with flour and sugar into crumbs. Our dough is ready.

Cover the filling with crumbs. When you put the fillings and crumbs into the molds, don’t be stingy, because during baking, the volume of the filling and dough will decrease significantly, so put them in heaps.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 C for about 15-20 minutes, or rather until golden brown.
