Pear and Apple Charlotte Pie Recipe: A Delicious Twist

Charlotte can be made not only with apples, try it with pears. Charlotte has long and firmly entered the menu of almost every housewife. This is due to the fact that it is very easy to prepare, cheap and tasty. If guests are coming, or family members ask for something tasty, of course we prepare charlotte. The first recipes for charlotte contained butter, but gradually it disappeared from the composition. I tried making charlotte with this product, but it turned out to be an acquired taste. Tasty, but lacks the usual lightness and tenderness. Traditionally, charlotte is prepared with apples; I remember that even the first recipes began with “Take four Antonov apples”... It’s delicious with apples, but there are other fruits, such as pears, that also look great in charlotte. In the Urals, we have small pears, so we take them by weight, approximately 500-600 grams. Be sure to peel the skin; our pears are rough and impart a not entirely pleasant taste during heat treatment. After certain processing, we bake the charlotte. You can use just pears, or you can add 1-2 apples, it adds a slight sourness and, of course, an incomparable apple flavor and aroma.
