Ingredients (12 portions)

For dough:

Chicken eggs 3 pc
bitter chocolate 200 g
Sugar 150 g
Butter 200 g
Wheat flour 150 g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Cognac 1 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp

For filling:

Chicken eggs 2 pc
Sugar 50 g
Mascarpone 500 g

Recipe instructions

Melt the chocolate and butter in a water bath, leave to cool

Mix two eggs with 50 gr. sugar, add mascarpone cheese

Combine until smooth

For the dough, beat 3 eggs with 150 gr. sugar with a mixer at high speed until a dense mass is obtained (8-10 minutes)

Reducing the mixer speed to medium, pour in the warm chocolate mixture in a thin stream, stirring until smooth. Set aside the mixer. Add sifted flour and baking powder in small portions, stirring gently with a spoon.

Grease a mold with a diameter of 24-26 cm, dust it lightly with flour, pour in half the dough, smooth it out. It’s better to take a springform pan, but I don’t have one with a suitable diameter.

Place the filling

Pour in the remaining dough, spreading it evenly over the surface of the filling.

Bake in a preheated oven at t — 180` for about an hour. Check readiness with a wooden skewer; it should fit easily into the pie, remaining dry. When it has cooled a little you can cover it with powdered sugar.
