Wheat flour 200 g
Eggs 4 pc
Sour cream 40 g
Baking powder 10 g
Pears 2 pc

Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to make charlotte with apples and pears in the oven? Prepare your food. You can reduce the amount of sugar to your taste; with this, the charlotte turns out very sweet. Take large eggs, if you have small ones, then add one more. Also take large apples and pears. Iʼll add more fruit next time. All products should be at room temperature.

Step 2

Step 2
Immediately turn on the oven to preheat at 180°C. Take a bowl, beat the eggs into it, after washing and drying them. Start beating the eggs with a mixer at low speed, gradually increasing the speed. Add sugar in portions, beating well after each addition. You should get a fluffy light mass. At the end, add sour cream and beat everything well again.

Step 3

Step 3
Add baking powder to the flour and stir. Sift the flour into the beaten eggs in three stages. Gently stir each portion using a silicone spatula. Read about the nuances of using baking powder in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe.

Step 4

Step 4
The result should be a flowing, homogeneous dough. If necessary, add a little more flour. Read about the properties of flour at the end of the recipe.

Step 5

Step 5
Cut the washed and dried fruits into large cubes. I didnʼt peel them, you can see for yourself.

Step 6

Step 6
Take a suitable baking dish. I have a silicone one, with a diameter of 22 cm. You don’t need to lubricate it with anything; grease a mold made of another material with a piece of butter. Pour half of the dough into the mold. Place apple and pear slices evenly on it. The article at the link at the end of the recipe will help you choose a baking dish.

Step 7

Step 7
Pour the other half of the dough over the filling and smooth the top.

Step 8

Step 8
Bake the charlotte in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the cake. Check doneness with a skewer — it will come out dry from the center. You can learn about the operating features of ovens by reading a separate article, link at the end of the recipe.

Step 9

Step 9
Serve the charlotte to the table. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Bon appetit!
