Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
We will prepare all the necessary ingredients so that everything is immediately at hand during the cooking process. Greens (any of your tastes will do) must be washed and placed in a colander to allow the water to drain.

Step 2

Step 2
For the filling of this jellied pie, the best option would be a spicy cheese with a pronounced taste. Tilsiter, in my opinion, is ideal. It is necessary to grate it on a coarse grater.

Step 3

Step 3
Boil the chicken breast in salted water until tender, let cool slightly and finely chop across the meat fibers.

Step 4

Step 4
The greenery, meanwhile, had already dried out. Chop it quite finely.

Step 5

Step 5
Mix the ingredients for the filling: chicken, cheese and herbs. Add a little salt to taste.

Step 6

Step 6
Wash chicken eggs in warm water. Add all the milk, salt, sugar to a tall mixing bowl and break both eggs there. Beat with a mixer until the mixture slightly increases in volume, that is, until there are good, stable bubbles.

Step 7

Step 7
Add baking powder. And add flour in two or three additions, simultaneously passing it through a sifter (or sieve). Mix the dough with a mixer until smooth, without lumps. The dough should ultimately turn out thick, but at the same time quite liquid, because this is a jellied pie! Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Step 8

Step 8
Grease the mold with a drop of vegetable oil. And pour half of the dough into it. Spread all the filling on top in an even layer.

Step 9

Step 9
It remains to pour the remaining dough on top. Make sure the entire cake is covered, with no gaps. You can gently tap the pan on the work surface so that all the cavities inside the pie are evenly filled with dough.

Step 10

Step 10
The oven is already completely ready for use. We send our pie there for 30-40 minutes (depending on the power of your oven). Check readiness with a wooden skewer. We pierce the pie in the center, and if the skewer comes out completely dry, then our pie is ready.
