How to bake honey gingerbread? Prepare your food. Choose good quality, natural honey, it is better if it is liquid. If your honey is candied, melt it in a water bath. Take black tea without additives. You can take brown sugar, the gingerbread will acquire a caramel taste.

Boil water and brew tea using a teaspoon of tea leaves and 70 ml of boiling water. Let the tea brew.

Add honey, sugar and tea leaves to the saucepan, straining it through a strainer.

Place the saucepan on the fire. Cook, stirring, until the mixture boils. After boiling, cook for a couple more minutes. Keep the heat low; the mixture boils vigorously and may escape. Then turn off the heat and leave to cool until warm.

Add soda to the cooled mixture and mix well. After some time, foam will rise. Add cinnamon and crushed cloves. Stir.
