Recipe instructions

Step 1

Step 1
How to bake potatoes with champignons in the oven? Prepare your food. Take large potatoes; if they are small, increase the quantity. Any onion will do. I took the purple one. The oil is refined, odorless. You will also need foil.

Step 2

Step 2
Wash and peel the potatoes well. Cut it into large slices, much like country-style potatoes.

Step 3

Step 3
Pour clean cold water over the chopped potatoes and cook over medium heat. After boiling, add salt. Boil potatoes for 10 minutes. This pre-boiling will shorten the baking time in the oven. Drain the water and cool the potatoes a little.

Step 4

Step 4
Carefully wash the champignons to remove dirt; I usually wipe the mushrooms with a damp sponge — this way they absorb less moisture and do not become watery. Chop the champignons coarsely, keeping in mind that they will shrink in size during baking. I had large mushrooms, I cut them into quarters. Cut smaller mushrooms in half.

Step 5

Step 5
Peel the onion and cut into quarter rings.

Step 6

Step 6
Take a suitable baking dish. Place half-boiled potatoes, champignons and onions in it. Salt and pepper, you can also add any seasonings to taste. Drizzle the food with vegetable oil. Gently mix everything together with two spoons.

Step 7

Step 7
Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 220°C. Bake the dish for 35-45 minutes, depending on the features of your oven, the quantity and type of potatoes.

Step 8

Step 8
10 minutes before cooking, remove the foil and let the dish brown a little. Serve to the table. Bon appetit!
