How to bake potatoes with chicken on a baking sheet in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. For a holiday table or for lunch or dinner for a large family, you can bake a whole chicken, and for a small meal, the number of ingredients can be reduced accordingly and some part of the chicken can be used. Rinse the chicken carcass thoroughly and dry. When baking a whole chicken, you need to take into account that it will take more time.

Wash the potatoes, peel and cut into large pieces of arbitrary shape.

Peel the onions and cut into feathers or strips.

Cut the chicken along the belly. Brush the chicken on all sides with olive oil and season with salt, ground black pepper and chicken spices to taste. Leave the chicken at room temperature for 20-30 minutes to soak in the marinade. Turn the oven on 180 degrees.

Place carrots, potatoes and onions on a baking sheet, place the fried chicken on top, drizzle the vegetables with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and ground pepper. Bake the chicken and potatoes at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. The exact time depends on your oven. If it seems that the vegetables or chicken have started to burn on the outside, but are not baked on the inside, then you can cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for about 20 minutes from the start of baking, then remove the foil and let the dish brown, keeping it in the oven for about 10 more minutes.
