How to stew potatoes with fillet? Prepare your ingredients. Take fresh fillet without bone and skin; if the fillet is frozen, then defrost it first. When frying potatoes, choose varieties that contain less starch so that when frying, the potato pieces retain their shape and do not fall apart. Onions, size to taste. We will fry in vegetable oil, you can use olive oil. Salt to taste, you can also add ground black pepper.

To fry potatoes and chicken, take a good frying pan, either with a non-stick coating, or one in which you are sure that nothing will burn on it. The amount of chicken meat can be reduced or increased to suit your taste. Place the frying pan over high heat, add some oil and heat. Rinse the chicken fillet under cold running water and pat dry. Cut the chicken into small pieces and place in a preheated frying pan. Fry the meat until the color changes.

Wash and peel the potatoes. Rinse again, dry and cut into small cubes, sticks, slices. Add the chopped potatoes to the fried chicken fillet, add vegetable oil, reduce the heat to medium (or slightly less than medium) and fry the potatoes and chicken for 10 — 12 minutes without a lid. Gently stir the potatoes 2 — 3 times so that they fry evenly, but do not destroy the integrity of the pieces.

Peel the onions and cut them randomly — into pieces, half rings, quarters. Add the chopped onion to the potatoes and chicken, cover with a lid and fry for 1 — 2 minutes. Then add salt, stir and cook for another 5 minutes without a lid or until the potatoes are done.

Serve the finished fried potatoes with chicken fillet hot. This is a separate dish. When serving it, you can sprinkle it with chopped fresh green onions or dill. Offer lightly salted herring, homemade pickles, and fresh vegetables to the potatoes.
